Mr. Josh Just

Josh JustMr. Just holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Bethany College (WV) and a master's degree in education administration from the University of Phoenix. For the past three years, he has served as an assistant principal at Caroline High School, where he was charged with a variety of tasks including evaluating the CTE, science, fine arts, and world languages departments, as well as facilitated a freshman transition workshop that began in 2016 and served on multiple committees including a secondary literacy workshop and block scheduling review. Prior to his appointment in Caroline County, Mr. Just was the director of student activities/athletics director at Hanover High School from 2013-2015, where a variety of athletics teams that he supervised earned state championships in baseball, track, tennis, wrestling, and swimming.

Mr. Just holds a postgraduate professional license in chemistry and administration and supervision, prek-12, and is a five-time Hanover County Honored Educator.

From 2003-2013, Mr. Just taught all levels of chemistry at Hanover High School, where he guided students to a 97% pass rate in 10 years, as well as served as the school's head football coach from 2005-2013. Prior to coming to Hanover County, Mr. Just was a chemistry teacher and assistant football coach at Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk.

Mr. Just is married to Wendy Just, a 2nd grade teacher at John Gandy Elementary School and is a father of two daughters, ages 12 and 14, and a son who is 4.
