IB Learners strive to be:

Is IB the right fit for you?

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Do I enjoy being challenged academically?
  • Do I enjoy a task-oriented class in which the teacher is a coach rather than a lecturer and expert?
  • Do I enjoy asking difficult questions?
  • Do I enjoy searching for answers to penetrating, thought-provoking questions?
  • Do I enjoy learning about other countries’ histories, customs, and literature?
  • Am I a self-motivated, independent learner?
  • Do I enjoy and feel comfortable with fast-paced curricula?
  • Do I have the drive, energy, and desire for excellence?
  • Do I shy away from hard work?
  • Do I currently have at least a “B” average?

Why should I enroll in the IB Program?

How can I prepare for IB in middle school?  

  • Complete at least Algebra I
  • Complete two years of a world language (it is possible to earn the IB diploma with only one year)
