Mr. Jenkins joins Raider Nation after spending the past six years at Mechanicsville High School, where he served as the assistant director of student activities and special education teacher. During the past year, he also served as the department chair for special education.
Before beginning his career in education, Mr. Jenkins attended Longwood University, where he earned a bachelor of science in psychology with a minor in health education, a master of science in special education, and an endorsement in k–12 administration and supervision.
A proud graduate of Hanover County Public Schools, Mr. Jenkins attended Battlefield Park Elementary School, Bell Creek Middle School, and Mechanicsville High School.
Outside of being an educator, Mr. Jenkins enjoys spending time with his family, visiting the beach, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes football team, and supporting the Washington Capitals. He and his wife, Jordan, recently welcomed their first child, Cannon.
