Specialty Programs
The Department of Transportation provides transportation (site-to-site / hub-to-site) services to the participants of the following programs.
Advance College Academy
ACA Buses: On “A” days the bus will depart Hanover High School for Patrick Henry High School before school hours and return after dismissal.
On “B” days the bus will depart Atlee High School for Mechanicsville High School before school hours and return after dismissal.
Parents are responsible for getting their students to/from their high schools.
Health Sciences Specialty Center
Health Sciences Specialty Buses: 4 Buses transport from the Eastern and Western corridors to Hanover High School. These buses transport from specific hub stop locations.
Parents are responsible for getting their students to/from these hub stops.
Maggie L. Walker Governor's School/CodeRVA
MLWGS/CODERVA Buses: These students will be transported together on buses into Richmond City. These students will be picked up from their assigned High Schools before school hours and returned back after dismissal.
Parents are responsible for getting their students to/from their high schools.
The Hanover Center for Trades and Technology
THCTT Buses: Buses transport from the 4 high schools* and return to each high school by 3:45 pm. Program participants ride their assigned school bus to and from their home high school.
