Ryan Molloy

Ryan Molloy is now in his fifth year as the director of student activities at Atlee High School. Molloy joined Raider Nation after serving in the same role at Mills E. Godwin High School from 2012–2015.

Molloy, a 2000 graduate of Virginia Wesleyan University, started his work in athletics as the assistant men’s soccer coach for his alma mater. After three successful years in that role, he moved into high school coaching in Virginia Beach at Princess Anne High School and Salem High School. 

Molloy took a more active role in athletics administration during his time with Beach FC as director of operations. He then returned back home to Richmond (Hermitage High School graduate), to take over as director of administrative operations with FC Richmond. During this time, Molloy also served as head varsity soccer coach at Maggie Walker Governor’s School.

Molloy currently resides in Hanover County with his wife Carin (also a HCPS employee), and their three children, Raleigh, Cooper, Carter Ann.
