Ms. Bloom is beginning her 18th year as the senior teacher for special education at Patrick Henry High School after being a special education teacher at Patrick Henry for 14 years. Before moving to Virginia, she was a band teacher in Uniondale, New York.
Ms. Bloom holds a bachelor’s degree in music from C. W. Post College/LIU, a master’s degree in special education from C.W. Post College/LIU, and her endorsement in administration and supervision from Longwood University. Ms. Bloom is also the director of music at Ashland Presbyterian Church and director of the Hanover concert band.
