Spring Sports

All athletes trying out for a spring sport must have a VHSL physical completed after May 1, 2021. Forms are available online.

We do permit 8th graders to play high school junior varsity in the following spring sports: boys and girls lacrosse.

All practices/tryouts will begin right after school on Monday, February 21 (unless otherwise noted). Please see/email your respective coach for specific details on off-season workouts and meetings. Details of tryouts outlined below.

Junior Varsity: February 21 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Junior Varsity/Varsity: February 22–24 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Tryouts and practices will take place at the junior varsity baseball/practice field hockey field. Email Coach O'Hara with any questions concerning offseason workouts. You will need to bring: sticks, goggles, mouth guards, water bottle, cleats, sneakers, and weather appropriate gear. This is a spring sport that starts in winter. Dress comfortably and accordingly. No jewelry.
