The Atlee High School visual arts program consists of many fine arts courses including fine arts, crafts, photography, and graphic design.
The Atlee High School visual arts program is a diverse program and has a long history of excellence within our community. Our students participate in juried exhibitions and competitions, and they are accepted to art school across the country and achieve high marks on their AP portfolios and IB examinations. Students from all art disciplines represent the Atlee community with pride.
Students enrolled in any art class at Atlee can also be apart of our Art Guild. This after school club furthers their artistic enrichment and community involvement. We also encourage our art students to participate in visual arts activities outside the school. Our students currently participate in the Greater Richmond Scholastic and Art Program, Suntrust’s March Youth Art Month, YoungArts Program, GRASP Graphic Design Exhibition, and various workshops with VMFA and Visual Arts Center.
