The Summer Residential Governor’s School (SRGS) is an opportunity for tenth and eleventh grade students that are identified as gifted learners, to participate in an intensive summer program studying various academic disciplines.

Atlee’s patriotic turf grass design for the 2021-22 homecoming football game won this year’s Stars and Stripes contest from the Sports Field Management Association. The competition included designs from both the K-12, collegiate, and professional levels.

Five Hanover County Public Schools (HCPS) students have earned top honors at the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC), triumphing over students from around the world in their respective categories.

Atlee High School has been named a Blue Star School by Working in Support of Education (W!se) for its students’ outstanding performance on the 2019-2020 W!se Financial Literacy Certification Test. Atlee is one of just 74 schools across the U.S. to be named a Blue Star School.

Shannon Edwards, the career counselor at Atlee High School and Patrick Henry High School, won the 2020 Association for Career and Technical Education Counseling and Career Development School Counselor of the Year.
