Mrs. Allen is now in her 7th year as assistant principal at Atlee High School. Prior to becoming assistant principal in 2018, Mrs. Farley Allen was a senior teacher at AHS for the 2017–2018 school year, after serving as a teacher and mentor at PHHS for 16 years in her roles as department chair, continuous school improvement committee leader, AdvancED School Improvement Plan member, and assistant athletics director. She also served on an AdvancED External Review Team, giving her valuable insight into how other schools operate and perform.
Mrs. Allen received her bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech, a master's degree from VCU, and an administrative endorsement from Longwood University. She holds certification in history and social sciences and administration and supervision, preK–12.
Mrs. Allen resides in Mechanicsville with her husband Jeff, her son Reed, and her daughter Campbell.
